Warm and a little grand. Gold damask wallpaper on all sides, a dark wooden bed with drawers built into the base, and a big framed patchwork above the headboard — squares of old fabric, stitched together, that I’ve had for years.

There’s a window with sheer curtains, a wooden wardrobe with a mirror, and an old octagonal table you can work at.
